The Crestline Board of Education did not go far in its search for a new high school principal, in fact it was just down the hall.
The board named high school industrial technology teacher Keith Strickler to be the high school principal beginning Aug. 1. Strickler’s new annual salary will be $74,500.
The current principal, Tim Wigton, took the post on a temporary basis when David Mounts was placed on administrative leave. Mounts had replaced Paul Wheeler who took a position with the Galion City School District.
