The Crestline Village Council has called a special meeting for this Wednesday evening with the hopes of filling one of its vacant council seats.
Village Council will go into executive session during Wednesday’s meeting and may reconvene the special meeting for an actual appointment of a new council person.
The Crestline Village Council has been working short-handed for several months with four resignations by council members since October. Some of those resignations are as a result of conflicts with Mayor David Sharrock.
Stacey Wampler’s seat was filled by Gene Toy and Allen Laferty was appointed to take the seat of Kevin Taylor. Ryan Mahek also resigned and long-time council member Mike Blaising was the latest to submit his resignation prior to the end of his term.
