Crestline Village Council met in regular session on Monday, May 1. All members were present.

Before proceeding with the meeting, councilman Allen Laferty moved to remove a resolution from the agenda that would have confirmed the appointment of Douglas Manring as the fire chief of the village, presented as an emergency resolution. The motion to remove the resolution was approved with two dissenting votes, councilmen Eugene M. Toy and Clayton Herold.

At the end of the regular meeting, Laferty moved to go into executive session for the purpose of discussing the fire chief position. The request was granted, with no legislation coming out of the session.
