Press release and staff report

The National Drug Take Back Initiative was a success not only for Ohio, but also Crestline.

The Crestline Police Department served as a drop-off location for the Take Back Day held on April 29. The department collected 68 pounds of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs, which were then turned over to the DEA to be destroyed.

Ohioans disposed of an estimated 16.6 tons – 33,261 pounds – of prescription drugs during the most recent National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Drug drop boxes are located year-round at the Crestline Police Department and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
