The Crestline Board of Education announced the hiring of an interim principal for the high school at a special meeting earlier this week.

Tim Wigton was approved as the interim high school principal for the rest of the 2015-2016 school year at $350 per day. Wigton has previous principal experience as principal of Millersburg Elementary School prior to retiring.

The board approved supplemental pay of $5,000 for Elementary Principal Melissa Watters for her service as interim high school principal for the months of November and December.

Crestline High School Principal David Mounts was placed on paid administrative leave for personal reasons in November for the remainder of the first year of his contract.

During the organizational portion of the meeting board members approved holding their meetings at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the high school library.
