Industrial Arts class students at Crestline gave two members of their community something to be thankful for heading into the long holiday weekend.
Students provided the labor and the Crestline VFW Post 2920 paid for the materials to construct exterior wheelchair ramps at the homes of Carol Jacobs and Bob Fisher. Jacobs is a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Fisher is a World War II veteran.
The specific class is Construction Foundations and taught by Keith Strickler of Pioneer Career and Technology Center. Twenty-seven students took part in the projects that were completed on Tuesday.
More ont his story is available in the latest edition of The Crestline Advocate.
