The Crawford Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for their upcoming summer musical, “Monty Python’s Spamalot” and summer youth production, “Legally Blonde Jr.”
Auditions for “Monty Python’s Spamalot” will be held at MB Subculture, 127 S Sandusky Ave, from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 26 and from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 27. Those auditioning should call 419-562-0404 to schedule and audition appointment, come with a prepared musical theater genre song that is no more than a two-minute piece, bring accompaniment on a disc, read from the script and perform a short choreography routine. Performances will be held on August 7, 8, and 9.
Auditions for “Legally Blonde Jr.” will also be held at MB Subculture at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 and at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. Those auditioning will read and sing selections from the show and learn a short dance. There is no need to prepare anything. Auditions for the summer youth production are for ages 8-16. Performances will be held July 10, 11, and 12.
Both productions will be directed by Betsy Gerhart.
