YOU Can Do ART: The Natural Collage – Thursday, July 11 6PM Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 State Route 598.

The Crawford Park District invites you to join us for this fun program. Have you ever read a children’s book that is half story and half game? That is the MO of artist and author, Eric Carle. He sets an example of how to use paper collage to create representations of organisms. His caterpillar is one of his most famous collage art examples.

In addition to Eric’s torn/cut paper style, we will take a short hike to collect natural materials that could help you create your nature art.

All kids are welcome including those who are young at heart. Lowe-Volk Park is located 3 miles north of US Route 30.
