Press release

We notice them every autumn, crawling across sidewalks and up brick buildings. Where are they going?  What do they become?  Do they really forecast the winter?  Join Crawford Park District Naturalist, Josh Dyer, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5 at Lowe-Volk Park, to find out these facts and more about wooly bears.  After a short story about their fascinating life, we’ll take a hike to find these fuzzy caterpillars.  Fun for all ages!

Lowe-Volk Park is located 3 miles north of US Route 30. For more information contact the Crawford Park District office at 419-683-9000.
