The Crawford Park District needs your help with prairie grass seed collection at 2 p.m on Sunday October 2. Grass seed will be collected from areas of Daughmer Bur Oak Savannah that have abundant prairie grasses. The seeds will them be spread to those zones that are dominated by less desirable plant species. Meet Warren Uxley at the parking lot at 786 Marion-Melmore road just north of SR 294.
