The Crawford Park District will be holding its annual Living History Celebration on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7. This event will feature such things as Tomahawk Throwing, living history 3 2014Pioneer Games, Native Plant Sale from Natives in Harmony, Blacksmithing, Candle Dipping, Fur Trade, Native American Style Flutes, and more.

United in Harmony is an a cappella group from Bucyrus. They’ve performed the National anthem for the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Clippers, high school games, and veterans groups. They will perform “The Star Spangled Banner” at 9 a.m. along with the Flag Raising.

Schedule of Events:
Saturday, June 6
9 a.m. — Flag Raising; United in Harmony is will be performing “The Star Spangled Banner”
10 a.m. — 18th Century Women’s lifeliving history 2 2014
11 a.m. — Capture reenactment/gauntlet
12 p.m. — Lunch
1 p.m. — Weapons & tactics of 18th century warfare
2 p.m. — Capture reenactment/gauntlet
3 p.m. — Focus on Flint knapping with Jeremy Snyder
3:30 p.m. — Military Drills
4 p.m. — Close
8 p.m. – 10 p.m. — Lantern Walk

Sunday, June 7: Event will open 10 a.m. and the schedule will remain the same but without a flag raising.
