BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On April 7, 2025, at 9:20 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on Hill Street in Bucyrus, following a thorough investigation into the possession of child pornography. During the operation, 32-year-old Bryan D. Deaton, the primary subject of the investigation, was arrested.
Multiple electronic devices containing illicit material were seized from the property, which are now being examined by authorities. Deaton has been transported to the Crawford County Justice Center, where he will remain in custody while facing charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
Evidence of child pornography was discovered on the devices, and a report is set to be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for the potential filing of additional charges.
