1. Wynford (1-1) – Last week: 2 – The Royals rebounded from their opening-week loss to Liberty-Benton by beating backyard rival, Bucyrus, 48-0. Quarterback Wyatt Smith rushed for 157 and three touchdowns and added 74 yards through the air and two more scores, to get the Royals back on track.

  1. Colonel Crawford (1-1) Last week: 1 – The Eagles absorbed their first loss of the season, 27-14, on the road at Carey, which shows the balance of the N10. Colonel Crawford gave up 360 yards of offense to the Blue Devils. The Eagles will try to get back on the winning track at home versus Mohawk.

  1. Galion (2-0) – Last week: 3 – Perhaps the surprise of the early season, the Tigers remained undefeated with a convincing 44-7 win over Cardington. Galion averaged 9.46 yards per carry and got scores from its defense and special teams. The Tigers could make a statement against visiting Portsmouth on Friday.

  1. Buckeye Central (0-2) – Last week: 4 – The Bucks dropped a tough 45-14 decision at Mohawk last week. Avery Baldosser and Max Loy scored the touchdowns for Buckeye Central. Coach Rob Detterman will try to shore up a defense that was dented for 419 yards of total offense.

  1. Crestline (1-1) – Last week: 5 – The Bulldogs traveled to Grove City Christian and came home with a 7-0 victory. After giving up 47 points to Monroeville in Week 1, the Bulldogs kept the Eagles out of the end zone. Crestline will try to keep the momentum going by hosting South Central this week.

  1. Bucyrus (0-2) – Last week: 6 – The Redmen have been hit hard by injuries. Harley Robinson and Zane Seybert have been out since the second half of the opener against Galion. Sophomore quarterback Ben Seibert and receiver Gram Dick showed the ability to go deep even on the Wynford defense. But if Robinson and Seybert are still sidelined at Pleasant, they will need help from teammates to get on the board for the first time.
