It’s been said so often recently it’s almost a cliché`: Crawford County is under a Level 1 snow alert.

The advisory was declared by Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent at 6:55 a.m. this morning. A Level 1 snow advisory means rural roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy. Motorists are advised to please drive with caution.

Huron County is also under a Level 1 and all Crawford County Schools are on at least a two-hour delay. Galion city Schools and Galion St. Joe have cancelled school as of 7:05 a.m. Please check the Closings page for an updated list of closings and delays for today.
