A local organization dedicated to caring for people in need and struggling is hoping that those people with the means to eat out can help them help others.

Crawford County Helping Hands will be the beneficiary of the latest Bob Evans Dine to Make a Difference event this Saturday and Sunday. From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on those dates, Bob Evans will donate to Crawford County Helping Hands 15 percent of its sales from diners presenting a flyer. The flyer can be found on Crawford County Helping Hand’s Facebook page.

Crawford County Helping Hands is a non-profit organization that assists with providing opportunities for homeless, or near homeless, individuals and families. The agency’s stated goal is to break the cycle of homelessness and help those in need become independent citizens.

The agency will assist with providing emergency shelter and help those it is assisting get the necessary counseling, rehabilitation, counseling and other support needed.
