Fans of motorsports, horse racing, and Christian music need look no further than the grandstands at this year’s Crawford County Fair.

The action at the grandstands begins on the opening night of the fair with the demolition derby. Starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, the demolition derby will have eight heats featuring classes for compact and full size cars, and half-ton pickups. Tickets are $5 for Grandstand seating and $10 for pit passes.

At 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Fair Jam returns to the grandstands stage. Christian music artists 7eventh Time Down and Among the Thirsty will headline the event. Tickets are available at the fairgrounds office and are $10 for grandstand seating, and $15 for the artist circle seating. Price of the tickets also includes a pass into the fair for that day.

On Tuesday night KOI Drag Racing will return for a second year. Practice for the races begins at 5 p.m. with race heats starting at 7. The event features a 200-yard drag race on the infield with any type of vehicle that can be driven allowed in the event. Last year’s KOI Drag Races featured everything from snowmobiles to semis and everything in between. Tickets for the event are $5 for grandstand seating and $10 for pit passes.

After gate money for horse racing has risen the past few years, two nights of harness racing will take over the grandstands this year. Starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, people wishing to play the ponies can cozy up in the grandstands for the event at no admission cost.

The OSTPA Tractor Pull will take place Friday night at the grandstands. Five classes will battle it out for the longest pull starting at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $5 for grandstand seating and $10 for pit passes.

The fair will close out at the grandstands on Saturday for the Stock Truck Pull. Tickets for the event, which begins at 4 p.m., are $5 for grandstand seating and $10 for pit passes.
