BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The 2026 Royalty Contest included a first-ever event: one of the Queen candidates, Addie Dunford, appeared virtually. She is down at the horse show at the Ohio State Fair. Dunford, who was named Crawford County Fair Queen, will be a senior at Wynford High School, where she is a member of their FFA program. She is also a member of Young Riders 4-H Club.
Dunford’s attendent will be Trinity Spackey, who has been involved in 4-H for more than 10 years as a member of the Galion Blue Ribbon Achievers 4-H Club. She has participated in state and national leadership events through 4-H.
Fair King is Jayden Ash, who is Junior Fair Board vice president, Buckeye Stars 4-H Club vice president, vice president of the Buckeye Central FFA chapter, and vice president of his class. First runner-up is Kahne Tackett, a graduate of Pioneer, who has been on the Junior Fair Board for four years. Second runner-up is Robert Wilson of Crestline who attends Shelby High School, where he is a member of the band.
Junior Fair Princess is Ainsely Johnson, a member of the Junior Fair Board who has been involved at the fair for eight years. Her attendant is Keira Diekmann, who has been a Parlipro member, 4-H secretary, 4-H environmental officer, and 4-H health officer, as well as being an FFA member and serving on student council.
