BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Residents in Sulphur Springs, North Robinson, West Liberty, and surrounding communities are bracing for an extended period without electricity following a significant AEP Ohio service outage.
Kennedy Pine, Deputy Director of the Crawford County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), announced Tuesday that local public libraries have been designated as warming and charging stations for those affected by the loss of power.
“We have been made aware that many in the area are going to be without power for an extended period of time due to an AEP outage,” Pine said in a statement.
The following locations are available for residents in need of heat or a place to charge electronic devices:
- Bucyrus Public Library: Open until 8:00 PM
- Galion Public Library: Open until 8:30 PM
- Crestline Public Library: Open until 6:00 PM
