BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Crawford County has confirmed its final election results, showcasing a decisive victory for Republican candidate Jeff Price, who defeated Democrat C. Aaron Sharrock in the race for County Commissioner.

In local funding measures, the Bucyrus City Fire and Police Equipment Levy was rejected by voters. However, the Crawford County Criminal Justice Levy passed by a narrow margin. Educational funding saw mixed results, with the Wynford Local School Levy approved, while the Galion City School District Levy was not.

Additionally, the Crawford County Council on Aging and Children’s Services issues were both successfully passed by voters. The Village of Chatfield also saw success with its ongoing expenses levy.

Incumbent Crawford County Commissioner Larry Schmidt secured his reelection bid, while Sheriff Scott Kent, Prosecutor Matt Crall, Common Pleas Court Clerk Janelle Moore, and County Recorder Bonnie Cotton were all reelected without opposition.
