The Crawford County landfill on County Road 330 east of Bucyrus will host a Crawford County Clean-Up Day this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. This is a free service to Crawford County residents and proof of residence must be shown in order to utilize this free day.
The purpose of the day is to allow residents to remove large items from their property such as old refrigerators, washers, dryers, furniture, mattresses and metal.
Prohibited items include any waste from businesses or construction, tires, yard waste, hazardous wastes including paint and electronics, all liquids, and regular trash normally taken by a trash hauler.
