CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— The Crawford County Chamber of Commerce is in the midst of a busy fall season, with a series of events aimed at connecting businesses and developing the local workforce. The organization recently merged with the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, bringing its operations under one county-wide umbrella.
According to Interim Executive Director Becky Lutz, a key upcoming event is the annual Manufacturing Breakfast, scheduled for Oct. 3 at Grace Point Church in Galion. The event, sponsored by Stellar, will feature speakers from Stellar and Bucyrus City Schools. Awards will also be presented to nominated employees for their exceptional work. Registration is required, and manufacturers receive two free tickets, with additional tickets costing $20. The deadline to register is Sept. 26.
Lutz also highlighted several “Chamber Chats,” which are free networking events for the local business community. The next chat is scheduled for Oct. 1 at Carrie’s Venue in Galion, featuring a speaker from the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center.
Looking ahead, the chamber is planning a Lunch and Learn event in November, which will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on everyday life. Mike Martin of Buckeye Central will lead the discussion.
The chamber encourages community members and businesses to follow their website, crawfordcountychamber.org, and their social media pages for updates on these events and other news, including changes to the annual “Crawfordopoly” event and the upcoming holiday auction and open house on Dec. 11.
