BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Crawford County Auditor Robyn Sheets announced today that the 2025 Dog License Registration Program has officially begun. As a convenience, the Auditor’s Office is mailing renewal registration forms to owners of record. Additionally, owners who registered online in 2024 will receive a reminder email.
“Anyone who owns a dog or has a kennel is required to purchase a license by January 31, 2025,” said Auditor Sheets.
Ohio law provides dog owners with the option to purchase a one-year, three-year, or permanent dog license. The Board of County Commissioners sets the dog license fees annually, and for 2025, the costs are as follows:
- One-year license: $18.00
- Three-year license: $54.00
- Permanent license: $180.00
Dog owners purchasing a single-year license can do so through one of the following methods:
- Returning the registration form with the appropriate payment via U.S. Mail.
- Visiting the County Auditor’s Office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
