Crawford College Connection presented scholarships to fourteen local students from Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford, and Wynford at a reception on May 21, at the Bucyrus Methodist Outreach Center.

Awards presented were sponsored by the In As Much Circle of King’s Daughters, the Orletha Hartschuh Fund, the John and Janet Spreng Family, Bucyrus Moose Lodge 669, and Donald Shawk. Crawford College Connection also presented a scholarship in honor of MizickMiller, and Co. in gratitude for their years of service to the organization, as well as the ABC (A Better Chance) award in honor of former Wynford teacher Linda Anderson.

The 2017-2018 scholarship winners included Loarel Mollenkopt, Kayleigh Seiber, Annika Gerlach, Madison Sharp, Emily Kemper,Owen Kocher, Cole Kegley, Jack Reed, Tara Zinser, Alexus Ross, Alexus Burkhart, Claire Ehmann, Grant Carman, and Bradley Bauer.

Crawford College Connection is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit college access program serving local students. This is the seventeenth year the group has presented scholarships, and total scholarship assistance provided now exceeds $200,000.
