Pioneer Career and Technology Center has chosen students Raven Crawford and Tiffany Gray as November Students of the Month.

Raven CrawfordRaven Crawford, senior, from Galion High School is enrolled in the Carpentry program. She was nominated by her lab instructor, Doug Zimmerman. Raven is part of Galion’s basketball, track and tennis teams. She is a member of FCCLA and NHS. She is president of her 4-H club, active in the Jr. Fair board and is a 4-H camp counselor. She is a Lifeline of Ohio Ambassador, YMCA soccer coach and works two jobs.

“My experience at Pioneer has already put me a step ahead, working as a part time electrician I was able to start at a higher rate because of my experience in Carpentry.” Raven stated. “I feel like Pioneer has and will continue the great experience I need to further my education in the construction field.

Tiffany GrayTiffany Gray, junior, from Bucyrus High School is enrolled in the Graphic Arts program. She was nominated by the Special Needs Coordinator, Matt Parr. Tiffany received perfect attendance for the first grading period at Pioneer and received all A’s and one B+ all while working a part time job! Tiffany is a member of Art Club and The Girls & Boys Club of America.

Matt Parr stated, “I would like to nominate Tiffany because she is an amazing young lady who always puts forth her best at whatever she is attempting. To see her succeed is the best reward any educator could ask for.”

“Pioneer changed my life!” Tiffany states. “I love Pioneer! People are so nice, my teachers are great, and Pioneer helps my future so much!”
