GALION―Two people were taken to Galion Community Hospital after overdosing in the 900 block of Charles Street on Friday.
Galion Police received a call about a man and woman who were both unresponsive at 3:46 p.m. Both people were given Narcan to reverse the effects of opioids then taken by squad to the hospital for further treatment.

10:42 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 700 block of Harding Way West. Rodney D. Fulton was issued a citation for failure to yield.
1:15 p.m.-Tools were reported stolen from a remodeling job a company is doing in the 400 block of Portland Way North.
4:21 p.m.-An accident in the South Market Street area was investigated and one person went to the hospital to be checked for injuries.
6:11 p.m.-A welfare check on children was conducted in the 200 block of West Atwood Street and everything was fine.
6:34 p.m.-A North Columbus Street resident reported a check was stolen and cashed.
7:08 p.m.-A report of a man with a black hoodie on looking in someone’s garage was investigated in the 200 block of North Union Street.

2:16 a.m.-Two suspects fled from officers from Motomart and were apprehended. The 15-year-old juveniles were arrested and taken into custody.
2:51 a.m.-A report of two suspicious people in the South Street area was investigated. The two were playing Pokemon Go and there were no other problems.
7:54 a.m.-A $20 bill found in the parking lot area of the police station was turned over to officers.
10:28 a.m.-An Elm Street resident reported a scam through the mail.
12L17 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Cedargate Apartments area.
3:21 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 500 block of Second Avenue.
8:54 p.m.-A non-injury accident involving a vehicle and a deer was investigated in the 7600 block of Ohio 309.
11:13 p.m.-A Richardson Avenue resident reported receiving threatening phone calls from someone they know.

12:09 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Galion Arms. Both people involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.
12:45 a.m.-Julia R. Culler was issued a citation for expired tags in the Brandt Road area.
12:51 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of South Union Street. Both parties involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.
2:08 a.m.-A report of suspicious people was investigated in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue.
2:26 a.m.-A standby was conducted in the 200 block of South Union Street and one person was warned for trespassing in the future on the property. Jamarius Jones was issued a summons for menacing.
3:16 a.m.-Zachariah X. Zacharzuk, 25, Galion, was arrested in the Harding Way East on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. He was taken to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office by a deputy.
9:40 a.m.-Jessica L. Rowe was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the Buehler Street area.
4:11 p.m.-A report of vandalism was investigated in the 300 block of Third Avenue.
10:16 p.m.-A report of a breaking and entering was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

1:49 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man in a vehicle in the Valero Station lot was investigated.
6:18 a.m.-Nicole L. Unger was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 100 block of East Street.
9:16 a.m.-An East Summit Street resident reported a wallet stolen by someone they know. The person was apprehended in Ontario.
7:12 p.m.-A syringe found in the 700 block of Charles Street on the roadway was turned over to officers for proper disposal.
7:51 p.m.-A welfare check was attempted in the 400 block of Grand Street but officers were unable to locate the person.
8:24 p.m.-Cheyenne Schroeder was arrested on a Mansfield Police Department warrant in the 400 block of Portland Way North.
9:24 p.m.-Travis J. Baker was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 200 block of Portland Way North.
