The Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame is conducting its annual Scholarship Auction at 5:30 p.m. on Oct, 4 at the Crestline Activity Center, 216 N. Seltzer St.
The auction will feature both live and silent items and all proceeds benefit the CCSHOF Scholarship Fund. Food will be available and there will be a DJ and cash bar. Tickets are $10, and are available at each of the six high school athletic departments in the county, The Crestline Advocate and by calling 419-571-6284.
With every ticket purchased, $5 “Auction Bucks” will be given at the door to be used to bid on items. “Auction Bucks” are not redeemable for cash.
Items to be auctioned include OSU footballs signed by Coach Urban Meyer, two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, and quarterback Craig Krenzel from the 2002 National Championship team, two OSU basketballs signed by Coach Thad Matta and Clark Kellogg, 4 Disney World Hopper passes, admission tickets to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a Cleveland Browns football autographed by Desmond Bryant, three autographed photos from the Cincinnati Bengals, tickets to a Crew game and snow tubing at Snow Trails, a handmade clock, golf passes to Valley View Golf Course, passes to The Wilds, and much more.
