CRESTLINE — Crestline Village Council met Tuesday evening for its first meeting in September.

The first item on the agenda was the second reading of a resolution authorizing the village administrator to contract with K.E. McCartney and associates, INC. for any necessary engineering services for flow monitoring services for Crestline’s sewer system.

The next item authorizes the village administrator to contract with K.E. McCartney and associates, INC., but for necessary engineering services for the design of the rehabilitation of the Park Road sanitary sewer pump station, wet well and screens for Crestline’s sanitary sewer system.

Council read a resolution allowing the village administrator to contract with Makeever and Associates INC. for any necessary engineering services in preparation of a water distribution system model utilizing EPANET and the analyzing of various simulations to help reduce some of the city’s rusty water complaints and to also develop a 10-year master plan to the water distribution system.

The final resolution read allows the village administrator to contract with Makeever and Associates again for any necessary engineering services for the topographic survey and engineering design of the waterline transmission main from the county line to the water treatment plant.
