CRESTLINE — Crestline Village Council met Monday evening for a regular scheduled meeting, that included ordinances approving new occupants of various positions.
Council passed Ordinance No. 3216 to appoint John S. Rostash as village administrator, upon the request of Mayor Allen Moore. The former village administrator was Robert A. Ratliff.
Ordinance No. 3217 was adopted, making Timothy Roston the village magistrate.
Council passed Resolutions Nos. 18-21 and 18-22 that authorized the village administrator to contract with K.E. McCartney and Associates, Inc., to allow the company necessary engineering services in terms of flow monitoring services for the village’s sanitary sewer system.
K.E. McCartney and Associates, Inc. also are in charge of the design of the rehabilitation of the park road sanitary sewer pump station, wet well and screens for the sanitary sewer system.
Resolution No. 18-23 was adopted to allow the village administrator to contract with Makeever and Associates, Inc. for necessary engineering services to prepare for a water distribution system model that utilizes EPANET and other simulations in order to help with rusty water complaints, and to develop and ten-year plan to upgrade the water distribution system.
Resolution No. 18-24 allowed the village administrator to go into business with Makeever and Associates, Inc. for engineering services for the topographic survey and the engineering design of the waterline transmission main from the county line to the water treatment plant.
In other community happenings, Crestline First Methodist Church has their Music Festival this weekend from 4-8 p.m., with multiple Christian bands, free food and games.
