While one Bucyrus City Council committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 16, has been canceled, several others are scheduled, and a variety of different topics will be discussed, including potential legislation regarding medical marijuana businesses in the city.

A special council finance committee meeting scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Thursday for purposes of discussing the 2018 Budget has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

A special Joint Regular Committee meeting will take place beginning at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus. The meeting has been called by Council members and will include discussions as follows:

The public is welcome to attend these meetings. An executive session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee or official or to consider the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual, unless the employee, official, licensee or regulated individual requests a public hearing (ORC Section 121.22(G)(1)) will be requested at the end of the meeting.
