BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Congressman Bob Latta visited Wynford High School and Middle School on February 19. Latta, who represents 12 counties, took the opportunity to tour the schools and observe various classes.

During his visit, Latta expressed his admiration for the advancements in education and the opportunities available to students. “It’s incredible to see how far ahead these kids are compared to when we were in school,” he said. He emphasized the importance of ensuring students are prepared for the next steps after graduation and praised the school’s high success rate in this regard.

Latta also discussed the impact of changes in administration in Washington, noting the challenges faced during the last Congress when Democrats controlled the Senate and the presidency. He highlighted the importance of reconciliation efforts to maintain tax reductions implemented in 2017.

The visit concluded with Latta expressing his appreciation for the community’s efforts in supporting education and the positive developments he observed. He is scheduled to return to Washington on Monday morning.
