A guilty plea came with a prison sentence Thursday morning.

Cory Myers, 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree felony robbery in Crawford County Common Pleas Court and received a four-year prison sentence.

Myers’ case was temporarily stalled in August as the court awaited the results of a District V evaluation after defense attorney Adam Stone indicated that his client suffered from “pretty severe, undiagnosed developmental disabilities.”

The evaluation, which was read in court at the end of the month, determined that Myers was competent to stand trial in his case. He was originally arraigned on charges of felony 2 robbery and misdemeanor 1 domestic violence in July and was held on a $250,000 bond.
