BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Humane Society serving Crawford County held a pet food pantry Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its location at 3590 State Route 98.
In addition to the pantry, the Humane Society is launching a “Spooktacular” online pet costume contest for October. Pet owners can submit photos of their costumed pets via email from Oct. 1-24. The pictures will then be posted on the Humane Society’s Facebook page from Oct. 25-31 for the community to vote on.
There will be three winners: a “cool cat” winner for felines, a “top pooch” winner for dogs, and a “wild card” winner for other animals like hamsters, horses, and goats. The winners will receive gift cards and other prizes.
The Humane Society, located at 3590 State Route 98 in Bucyrus, is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
