GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The newly merged Crawford County Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a series of events this spring, aiming to connect businesses and residents across the county.

Casie Grau, the chamber’s leader, joined Randy Bigley on “Community Spotlight” to discuss the upcoming activities. Grau emphasized the chamber’s commitment to serving all communities within Crawford County, despite the challenges of managing dual offices in Bucyrus and Galion.

The chamber’s first major event is the Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Thursday, March 20, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Real Life Nazarene Church in Galion. The free event will feature discounted lab draws from Avita Health System, including general screenings, thyroid tests, PSA tests, long-term blood sugar management tests, and vitamin D inflammation tests. OhioHealth will also offer in-body analyzer assessments by an athletic trainer. Additionally, various vendors will showcase their services.

On April 17, the chamber will host a “Women in Business” event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Arts Center. This chamber-member-exclusive event also include beverages, a charcuterie board, and an art class.

The chamber’s inaugural annual meeting and awards banquet is set for Wednesday, May 7, at The Hub in Crestline. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tina Houston will be the guest speaker and her painting will be auctioned off. The event will also feature raffle baskets, 50/50 drawings, and vendor booths showcasing chamber member benefits.

The chamber also hosts monthly “Chamber Chats,” with the next one scheduled for April 2 at Carrie’s Venue in Galion. The event, featuring free coffee, provides networking opportunities for attendees.
