BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Chamber of Commerce and Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau, under the direction of Casie Grau, are managing a packed summer schedule of events. Grau also oversees the newly renamed Crawford County Safety Council.

A key update is the rebranding of the Galion Safety Council to the Crawford County Safety Council, effective for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. This change reflects its county-wide reach, with the next meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 17. These monthly meetings offer workplace safety information and a workers’ compensation premium discount.

The Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors Bureau has significantly updated its website, visitbucyrus.org, now a comprehensive resource for lodging, dining, and activities, including a new blog format and enhanced events calendar.

Upcoming tourism highlights include:

Music at Schines featuring the Taylor Schlub Band on Tuesday, July 29, at 8 p.m.

The Best Wurst Bike Ride during the Bratwurst Festival, with registration currently open.

The Galion Third Friday event on July 18 will feature a “Christmas in July” theme. The Chamber’s final golf outing of the year is set for August 6 at the Golf Club of Bucyrus, with team spots and sponsorships still available.
