ATTICA, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Attica Independent Fair is set to open from Tuesday, August 5, to Saturday, August 9, featuring a mix of traditional agricultural events and exciting entertainment. Fair representative Derrick Beat previewed this year’s schedule.

The fair begins Tuesday, August 5, with the Junior Fair Goat show, harness racing, and an evening cheerleading competition. Wednesday, August 6, includes the steer show, more harness racing, and new “Pony Pulls.”

Thursday, August 7, features the Junior Fair Poultry show and a pig scramble. On Friday, August 8, the market hog show and the popular “Bulls and Barrels” (bull riding/rodeo) event will take place.

The fair concludes Saturday, August 9, with the OSTPA Pull, alongside the Sale of Champions and Junior Fair auction.
