BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Art Center is marking a successful year in its new location at 117 North Sandusky Avenue with a full calendar of Halloween-themed events and activities.

According to Activities Coordinator Kaylee Powers Ceballos, the Art Center’s gallery currently features a “Cryptic” exhibition of spooky and harvest-themed works created by local artists.

The biggest event of the month is the inaugural Halloween Costume pARTy, a 21-and-up fundraiser set for Oct. 25 at the Bucyrus Elks Historic Mansion. The event, which is designed to support the non-profit organization, will feature a live DJ, an art raffle, and a costume contest.

For younger audiences, the Center continues to host its free, all-ages art activity, Creation Station, every Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m., funded by the United Way of North Central Ohio.

Ceballos noted the Art Center’s involvement with the Crawford County History Alliance, highlighting the link between art and local history.
