BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—In a recent Community Spotlight segment, Randy Bigley sat down with Mary Jo Carle from 100 Women Who Care of Crawford County to discuss the group’s progress and upcoming events.

Mary Jo highlighted the group’s achievements, including welcoming new members and distributing $10,075 to four nonprofits in Crawford County. The beneficiaries included the Business Women’s Auxiliary Kick for Kids, Project Noel, the Back to School Program at United Methodist Church, and Voice of Hope.

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 10, at the Bucyrus Nazarene Church. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. The three organizations presenting will be Camp from Crestline, LifeWise Crawford County, and the Wynford Band Boosters. Each will have five minutes to present their goals and funding needs, followed by a Q&A session and a vote.

While votes are tallied, members can nominate organizations for the next meeting in May. The winning organization will be announced, and the donations will be handed directly to them. In November, Voice of Hope received $3,225.

Mary Jo encouraged community involvement, “You can come to the meeting, reach out to us at 100wwccrawfordcounty@gmail.com, or find us on Facebook. 100% of the donations stay in Crawford County.”
