The Community Foundation for Crawford County recently announced more than $39,600 in grants to local non-profit agencies distributed for its second grant cycle of this year.

This brings the total grants distribution amount for this year to almost $445,000 in designated agency and agency fund grants and community grants to 42 organizations.

Community grants went to:

  • Colonel Crawford Local Schools – $3,000 to Dapper Cabin at Colonel Crawford Schools
  • Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio – $5,000 towards cost of Crawford County family stays at RMH through the Helping Hands Program
  • New Washington Police Department – $10,000 towards two mobile data terminals and training for officers in their use
  • Salvation Army – $1,600 towards the purchase of a commercial grade refrigerator and shelving for items donated to the food pantry
  • Crestline Athletic Boosters – $20,000 matching grant for the construction of permanent concession and restroom facilities

Established in 1984 with the help of the Timken Foundation, The Community Foundation for Crawford County works to enhance the quality of life for all Crawford County residents.
