BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On Halloween night, local organizations gathered for a spirited Halloween Pub Crawl, featuring collaborations among Moose Lodge 669, Elks Lodge 156, VFW Post 1078, American Legion Post 181, and Amvets Post 27.
This united effort aimed to raise funds for a meaningful cause, with proceeds recently donated to the Bucyrus Backpack Program.
The Bucyrus Backpack Program is dedicated to ensuring that students in need receive meals over the weekend during the school year.
The program provides each participating child with essentials, including two breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and three snacks.
Thanks to the generosity of participants in the Halloween Pub Crawl, $3,791 was raised to support this vital initiative, making a significant impact in the lives of students needing assistance with weekend meals. Community members came together to celebrate the holiday while also contributing to a worthy cause.
