The Purple Martin colony at Unger Park will be getting an introduction to its fellow Crawford County residents this week.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on June 22, Park District naturalist Warren Uxley will be showing the public the Purple Martin colony successes of the year. Uxley will lower the Purple Martin colony, which will then be registered to see just how many achievements have taken place thus far in 2017.
For those interested in partaking in the event, meet Uxley in the Unger Park parking lot.
