BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Board of Commissioners opened bids for work to be completed on rural county and township roads in the upcoming months.
Two bids were submitted for the pavement marking project.
The project includes 28 roads or sections of roads which will receive new center lines, edge lines or both.
A bid from Aero-Mark Company LLC in Streetsboro was for $86,440.04.
The other bid, from Oglesby Construction in Norwalk, was for $82, 794.91.
The estimate from the Crawford County Engineer’s Office listed the project at $82,818.
Since both bids fall within 10 percent of the estimated cost, the bids will be examined and one will be selected at a later meeting with the county commissioners.
