NORTH ROBINSON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Colonel Crawford Lions Club honored three exceptional seniors as Students of the Month during its recent November dinner meeting, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the school and community.
Each honoree, along with their family members, was a guest of the Lions and received a commemorative certificate and a fifty-dollar check.
Peyton Baker, November Student of the Month, is the son of Breck and Kristin Baker. An Academic Letter recipient every high school year, Baker is active in the National Honor Society, Student Council, LEO Club, and FCCLA. On the field, he has earned multiple awards, including N10 and NCOFCA Honorable Mention Quarterback, and also plays basketball and baseball. His service includes flag football coaching, tornado cleanup, and math tutoring. Baker plans to attend college to study law or accounting and continue playing football.
Lizzie Ehmann, December Student of the Month, is the daughter of Clay and Mary Ehmann. Ehmann has received the Perfect Attendance Award for three years and is a member of LEO Club, FCCLA, FFA, and the CC Girls Basketball team. She achieved Reserve Champion Intermediate Showmanship in her Barnyard Guys & Gals 4-H Club and participates in numerous 4-H service projects, including the Peanut Butter Drive. Ehmann, who serves as Youth Group Secretary at Good Hope Lutheran Church, plans to major in Sports Communication after transferring from Marion Technical College to either Kent State or the University of Toledo.
Joette Marks, January 2026 Student of the Month, is the daughter of Vince and Jeanette Marks. A National Honor Society member, Marks is involved in FFA, FCCLA, Teen Institute Youth Board (where she teaches drug-free lifestyles), and LEO Club. She is active in the arts through Vision, Eagle Ensemble, and school musicals. Marks is also a football cheerleader, a member of the Winter Swim team, and earned First Place JV Female at the Lake Erie Youth Trap Invitational. Her community service includes helping at Fall Fest and caroling at nursing homes. Marks plans to attend Marion Technical College to become a Physical Therapy Assistant.
