BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Colonel Crawford Lions Club has named Isabel Llamas, a senior at Colonel Crawford High School, as their Student of the Month for January 2024.
Isabel, the daughter of Miguel and Cecilia Llamas, is an exemplary student who has made significant contributions to her school and community. Last year, she earned the prestigious All A’s Award and is currently a member of the Academic Challenge Team. In addition to her academic achievements, Isabel is known for her service to others, tutoring fellow students and actively participating in the LEO Club.
Outside of school, Isabel works at La Cabanita Mexican Restaurant in Mt. Gilead, a family-owned business. Despite her busy schedule, she has set her sights on higher education, planning to attend college and major in architecture.
Isabel and her parents were honored guests at the C.C. Lions dinner meeting on January 18th. In recognition of her accomplishments, she received a commemorative certificate and a check for one hundred dollars.
The Colonel Crawford Lions Club continues its tradition of recognizing and encouraging outstanding students in the community, and Isabel Llamas is a testament to this commitment.
