The recent spate of cold weather certainly hasn’t affected the local police departments’ arrest reports. The Bucyrus Police Department arrested four people this week while the Galion Police Department handled 11 arrests last week.
Forty-year-old Michael Walker started off this week of arrests with a domestic violence charge after allegedly threatening and assaulting his girlfriend Monday afternoon. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
Later that day, twenty-one-year-old Shane Jones was arrested on two warrants out of Marion County and forty-two-year-old Timothy Caskey was arrested for theft. Both men were transported to the county jail. Jones will await extradition to Marion.
Thirty-two-year-old Richard Byrd was arrested Monday night for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
Those arrested in Galion between Jan. 20 and Jan. 26 included: thirty-nine-year-old Jolita Danielle Myers (domestic violence); twenty-six-year-old Derek Bruce Snyder; twenty-nine-year-old Andrew J. Utter (disorderly conduct); eighteen-year-old Michaela A. Ohler (criminal trespass); nineteen-year-old Fernando Lopez Diaz (underage consumption); thirty-three-year-old James Michael Britt (theft); thirty-seven-year-old Nicole M. Britt; fifty-nine-year-old Larry E. Stewart (OVI, drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs); twenty-one-year-old Scott A. Spencer (disorderly conduct); forty-three-year-old Robert Edwin Humphrey (carrying concealed weapons); and twenty-seven-year-old Jessica Khrisann Short.
