BUCYRUS — The Mt. Zion Buckeyes 4-H club met at 6 p.m. on May 6, 2019 to perform its last big community service for the season.

Members came and cleaned up the cemetery beside the church by raking leaves and pulling weeds. The members then held their regular meeting at 7 p.m. Pledges were held, and the members performed roll call by answering to their favorite color. Cloverbuds were dismissed and the treasurer and secretary and treasurers report were read.

In New Business, camp registration was mailed to the members’ homes. Members were reminded to sign up for 4-H Camp no later than May 22. Fair Booth Committee members were to meet right after the meeting was over to assist in planning the fair booth. The fair theme is Seas the Day!

Pictures were taken for the fair booth. Members were reminded to bring their project books to the next meeting in case they had any questions for advisers about their book or their project.

Demonstrations were given by: Miya Kinn, Maddi Coffman, Addison Shade, Kassidy Stanford, Clareese Prenger, Weston Prenger, Owen Prenger, Willa Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Aleece Filliater, Jordyn Alspach and Rylee Alspach.

The meeting was adjourned, and refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held at the church on June 3 at 7 p.m.
