BELLVILLE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Clear Fork Valley Local School District, located in Richland County, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent. The Board is in search of a visible leader who has the ability and willingness to collaborate fairly with faculty, staff, students, and families. The successful candidate is expected to have a personal involvement and interest in the community. The expected start date of the new superintendent will be August 1, 2025.

Qualified applicants must possess the following qualifications and experiences: a Master’s degree with a valid Ohio School Superintendent license or evidence that one is obtainable; demonstrated community involvement and visibility; the ability to work as a collaborative team with the Board, Treasurer, staff, and community stakeholders; a tenacious pursuit of the district’s vision while skillfully carrying out operational details, overcoming obstacles, and accomplishing objectives; effective verbal and written communication skills with the Board and a variety of audiences in a proactive and timely manner; transparency in delivering high-quality presentations and communications for the Board and stakeholders; a creative and innovative approach to challenges and problem-solving; strong organizational and leadership skills; knowledge of the Ohio Revised Code as it relates to school operations and superintendent responsibilities; the ability to work well with others; and a positive, optimistic demeanor while modeling a high standard of professional conduct and inspiring leadership.
