Children’s author Ozzie Davis will be stopping by the Bucyrus Public Library on Saturday, June 7, 12:30-2:00 p.m. to share excerpts from her latest book Fuzzwald’s Three Day Weekend.
Davis was born in Piqua, OH and has been writing since she was twelve. Many of her works have been published in newspapers and compilations. She has also been nominated several times for International Poet of the Year and is the winner of numerous awards in Song of the Year.
In 2009 Froggy’s Patience, the first book in The Adventures of Frog Man series was published. The first book in her most recent series, The World of Fuzzwald & Friends is Fuzzwald’s Three Day Weekend and was released in January. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of Froggy’s Patience goes to the Shriner’s, St. Judes, and Children’s Hospitals. Portions of the proceeds from Fuzzwald’s Three Day Weekend are donated to the Wounded Warriors Program.
