The villages of Chatfield New Washington and North Robinson all went to the polls to elect council members.
In Chatfield Donna Peterman and Barbara Smith ran as write-in candidates. Two other seats on council there remain unfilled however. The same situation is true in North Robinson where John Agin and former postmistress Kimberly Brown were the only two candidates for four positions on the ballot.
In New Washington four seats were open on council. Three went to the only candidates on the ballot – Gertrude Durnwald, Paul Forster and Geraldine Lucious. The fourth will be determined between write-in candidates Brian Agin and Roger Throckmorton. The Crawford County Board of Elections will have that final vote count available on Wednesday.
