DELAWARE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Former attorney and Bucyrus resident Adam Stone is scheduled for a change of plea hearing on July 14 at 11:15 AM in the Delaware Common Pleas Court. The hearing will take place in the courtroom of Judge James Shuck.
Stone faces several serious charges, including telecommunications fraud, impersonating a police officer or private police, grand theft, and identity fraud. The first two charges are categorized as third-degree felonies, while grand theft is classified as a fourth-degree felony and identity fraud as a fifth-degree felony. If found guilty on all counts, Stone could face a maximum sentence of 8.5 years in prison.
These charges stem from his representation of clients Dan and Mindy Straker.
