BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the invaluable contributions of its Chamber Ambassadors, who serve in voluntary roles essential to member communication and retention. These dedicated individuals foster engagement within the local business community, strengthening connections that contribute to economic growth.

To honor their efforts, the Chamber has introduced the 2024 Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award, acknowledging the vital role these ambassadors play in the success of various initiatives and events.

Chamber Ambassadors are actively involved in a range of initiatives, including promoting the Chamber, retaining existing members through positive experiences, and representing the Chamber at events by assisting with registration and greeting attendees. Many ambassadors are local business owners or professionals who are passionate about their community and prioritize enthusiasm, contribution, and collaboration.

During the Annual Bucyrus Commerce Dinner and Awards ceremony held on November 13, Chamber leadership took a moment to recognize the hard work of all ambassadors present. “We are fortunate to have such a fantastic group of Ambassadors, which made selecting the recipient of this award a challenging task,” they stated.

The Bucyrus Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award recipient, Jody Spiegel, truly exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism. Spiegel has attended nearly every Chamber event, from networking gatherings and the annual golf outing to the early morning Best “Wurst” Bike Ride and the Music at the Mural event. Alongside her dedicated partner, Maranda, Jody consistently ensures that members and the community have a memorable experience.

“Congratulations, Jody!” echoed the Chamber leadership, celebrating her outstanding commitment and contributions to the Chamber and the Bucyrus community.

CCN will feature the Citizen of the Year next.
